Summer 2013 A Quarterly Publication by BIO HUMA NETICS, Inc. HUMA GRO® GOLDEN GRO™ In This Issue Produces More Premium Quality Cantaloupes A field trial was conducted on Gold Mark Cantaloupe to compare HUMA GRO GOLDEN GRO™ to a conventional fertilizer program (control). All things were equal on the trial: The same Gold Mark Cantaloupe variety was used. Both crops were rotated after a bean crop. All other applications were the same except the addition of GOLDEN GRO™ to the test block. ® The plants treated with GOLDEN GRO™ were stronger and the fruit had better quality including firmness, inside color, netting, and uniformity of fruit. This improved quality from the GOLDEN GRO™ application resulted in an extended harvest, increased yield, and higher selling prices. The addition of HUMA GRO® GOLDEN GRO™ produced premium quality cantaloupes that resulted in 138.6 boxes more per acre and in a net gain of $415.80 more per acre than the control.
