(BHN) had another strong year in 2014. Each year, BHN manufactures a record amount of products for HUMA GRO ® , HUMA GRO ® TURF, and PROBIOTIC SOLUTIONS ® . We expanded our staff to help us grow and will continue to do so. Last November, the "Live the Life of Abundance" BHN 2014 World Conference was a great success and our biggest one yet. It was a pleasure to see and hear from our distributors and representatives. We look forward to, and already have big plans for the 2016 Conference. The company continues on a sustainable steady growth every year and we predict 2015 to be another great year. With a growing company comes challenges to adapt and manage that growth, and that's what BHN is doing. The company has finalized plans to expand our office and production space to allow for our growing staff and production output. In the long term, BHN potentially may need multiple office locations around the world. BHN is well positioned for growth in the United States domestic market as well as continuing to capitalize on markets internationally in the coming years. In 2015, BHN is planning for the next 5 + years of growth. While BHN's prosperity depends on its revenues, BHN is really a company that values our mission over margin. Our mission is to "provide technologically-advanced and ecologically sustainable quality products and services that replenish the earth by restoring water quality, reviving soil fertility, renewing food and fiber value, and refocusing engineered technologies; while minimizing human environmental impact which thereby enhances the quality of life world-wide." BHN strives for win-win outcomes; values honesty, integrity, and quality relationships; and believes in an abundance mentality. We want to help growers/operators and communities, both locally and all over the world through our sustainable, efficient products and programs. How? Simply put, "by doing more with less". Let us make 2015 a great year! Sincerely, Lyndon W. Smith President Winter 2015 A Quarterly Publication by BIO HUMA NETICS, Inc. The 68th UN General Assembly Declared 2015 the International Year of Soils "Agriculture must, literally, return to its roots by rediscovering the importance of healthy soil, drawing on natural sources of plant nutrition, and using mineral fertilizer wisely," - Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The International Year of Soils (IYS) 2015 aims to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of soil for food security and essential ecosystem functions. "Living the life of abundance" must always begin with healthy soils. In fact, BHN echoes the FAO when we say that healthier life begins with healthier soils. Healthy soils are the foundation to agriculture and are essential as global demands rise for food, fuel, and fiber. Healthy soils are also important in facing the challenges of a growing population, climate change, and extreme weather events. What do healthy soils do? Healthy soils keep nutrients in the soil, increase organic matter, promote soil stability and structure, and improve water penetration and holding capacity. Our products are uniquely suited to rehabilitate soils to optimal health. In 2015, we will be celebrating the International Year of Soils by publishing a series of articles highlighting key aspects of soil science, including: • What is Soil? Defining what soil is and is not. • Soil Types and Classification • Soil Biota – Living Microbes • Plant-Soil Microbial Interactions Look for these articles in upcoming newsletters! 2015 Year of Soils
